Power Mode#
This parameter determines the power mode of the engine.
In low power mode, the scan engine automatically enters sleep after being idle for 800 ms (and can be awakened by a wake-up command). In continuous power mode, the scan engine stays awake after each decode attempt.

Transmit Setting Barcodes#
When enabled, the device outputs the data value of the setting barcode while the barcode is scanned. Disabled by default.

Setting Barcode Password Mode#
Setting barcode password mode protects configuration operations with a lock. When enabled, you must first enter the correct setting barcode password to unlock the device before scanning normal setting barcodes. After one correct password entry, the device remains unlocked until the next power cycle.
Note
The password is 2 digits, ranging from 00 to 99.
Enable Setting Barcode Password Mode#
When the device switches from disabled to enabled setting barcode password mode, password verification is required first. Password verification is also required before disabling this feature.

Enter Setting Barcode Password#
After scanning the following setting barcode, scan a 2-digit numeric setting barcode to enter the password; pad with leading 0 if fewer than 2 digits are entered.
- Password Range
00-99
Enter Setting Barcode Password#
Example
To enter password 68: scan this setting barcode, then scan the numeric setting barcodes 6 and 8 in order.
To cancel an incorrect entry, scan Cancel Barcode.
Change Setting Barcode Password#
The password can be changed only when setting barcode password mode is enabled and password verification has succeeded (the device is unlocked).
Change Setting Barcode Password#
Example
To set the new password to 96: scan this setting barcode, then scan the numeric setting barcodes 9 and 6 in order.
To cancel an incorrect entry, scan Cancel Barcode.
Log Out Password#
After entering the correct password in password mode, scan this setting barcode to clear the current unlocked state. Password entry is required again for subsequent configuration operations.
